- LHASANG TSERING (PRO 1976; President 1986-1990; Editor of English “Rangzen”) : Graduated from Wynberg Allen School. Held various posts in RTYC Dharamsala. As Centrex President, traveled widely around the world on lecture to campaign for Tibet. Resigned from Centrex in 1990. In 1972 joined Chushi Gangdrug guerilla in Mustang. Served at TCV School as its Principal and Deputy Director and also served in SFF. Worked in the Information Office, and was acting editor of Tibetan Review for some time. He worked at the Amnye Machen Institute (AMI), of which he was one of the founder-Director.
- T.T. KARMA CHOEPHEL (PRO 1977-83; Acting President 1985; V. President 1988-89) : An alumni of Central School for Tibetans Mussoorie, got a B.A. from Delhi University and B.Ed. form Bangalore. He held various post in the RTYC at Delhi and Bylakuppe. Taught at CST Bylakuppe till1981 when he was appointed Rector of CST Shimla and later at Mussoorie. He is a member of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile and was the Chairman for the period of six months. In September 1994, he was elected as the President of the newly formed National Democratic Party of Tibet (NDPT), where he is re-elected for the President in May 2004.
- TASHI NAMGYAL (General Secretary 1983-86 and 1986-89) : An alumni of the CST Panchmari. He has a B.Com degree from Delhi University. While at Dharamsala, he worked with the RTYC, and was TYC representative at Delhi form 1979 to 1983. He attended many international conferences relating to Buddhism and youth on behalf of TYC and TYBA. He began serving CTA since 1972 and was the Representative of the Office of Tibet in Kathmandu, Nepal. In between, he did various stints in Bhutan, at Security Office, at the Department of Health etc.
- TSERING DHONDUP alias Gentleman (Jt. Secretary 1983-86; Vice President 1986-88) : Started his schooling at CST Panchmari and completed it from CST Mussoorie in 1973. Obtained B.A. in political science from Delhi University. Involved with RTYC Panchmari, Delhi and the Committee for Restoration of Independence in Delhi. He worked at the Tibetan Research Office in Delhi for years, where he co-authored a book “Understanding the Policy of Liberalization”. He was a member of Tibetan Parliament in 1988-1990. Now lives in Salt Lake City in US.
- TASHI PHUNTSOK (Jt. Secy 1986-89; Gen. Secy 1989-92; Editor of English ‘Rangzen’) : Born in Nyalam, Tibet, he did his basic schooling at CST Mussoorie. Did his further studies in Chandigarh (BA Hons., LLB), Bangalore (B.Ed.) and Vellore (Diploma in Psychotherapy). Was a youth leader in Kollegal settlement, where he taught for 6 years, and served as President of RTYC Chandigarh twice. Toured widely to campaign for Tibet. He headed the Africa and Middle East Desk in the Bureau of HH the Dalai Lama in New Delhi. He was a representative at the Office of Tibet, South Africa and presently heads the Office of Tibet, Paris, France.
- KARMA CHOEKYI (Social Service Officer 1986-89; ORI 1989-92) : Did her schooling at Tibetan Children’s Village, Dharamsala and Tibetan Homes Foundation, Mussoorie. She did Secretarial Course at New Delhi. She was an active member of the Tibetan Youth Congress branch of Delhi. She worked with the Charitrust Handicraft Exports and later with the Potala Tours & Travels, both in Delhi for many years.
- GYARI DOLMA (Information Secy. 1986-89; Joint Secretary 1989-91) : Born in Kalimpong in 1964. Did schooling in CST Darjeeling and B. A. from Punjab University. She was actively involved in RTYC, Darjeeling. She was also involved with foreign students at Chandigarh where she was a member of the GLOBAL 86 youth anti-apartheid movement. While at Centrex, she toured Japan and Australia and resigned in 1991 when she was elected to the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. At present she is the Deputy Speaker of Assembly of Tibetan People’s Deputies.
- LOBSANG TSULTRIM (Uncle) (Info. Secy 1983-86; Cul. Secy 1986-89; Ed. Tib. Rangzen) : Completed his schooling from CST Mussoorie in 1975 and B.A. from Chandigarh. Was President of the RYTC Chandigarh. Served CTA at the Information Office many years where worked on a project to prepare a definitive map of Tibet and helped start an audio-visual section. In 1985, he went to England for a special in cinematography, he go a USIA scholarship in 1992 and attended University of California at Santa Barbara to further enhance his audio-visual skills. He was also the chief editor of the Voice of Tibet.
- Ven. YESHI CHOEDAK (Social Wel. Off. 1986-89; Cul. Secy. 1989-90; V. Pres. 1991-2; Ed Tib: Rangzen) : Born in Lhoka, studied at CST Shimla. Did his higher studies at the CIHTS in Varanasi. In 1975, he studied at Sera monastery in Bylakuppe and also taught novice monks for three years. He held various posts while at TYC Dharamsala. Since 1979, he has been serving with the Private Office of H. H. the Dalai Lama. Currently, he is working at the Department of Security as a Joint Secretary.
- LODOE SANGPO (Public Relations Officer 1983-86; Finance Secretary 1986-89) : He did his schooling at Central School for Tibetans, Shimla. He was the President of RTYC, Darjeeling. He joined and served with the Special Frontier Force from 1973 to 1976. He worked as Executive member of Indo-Tibetan Friendship Association, Dharamsala and President of Tibetan Freedom Movement, Dharamsala. He also acts as Treasurer of the National Democratic Party of Tibet. At present, he is an advocate and also a member of Dharamsala Local Tibetan Assembly.
