TYC DELEGATION VISITS NEPAL JAMPALING. NEPAL

On November 10th, the TYC Centrex members were warmly welcomed at the hotel by RTYC Jampaling President Gyatso la.

They then proceeded to the Jampaling Tibetan settlement, where they were received with Khatak by TSO Kungoe Karma la, Former TYC VP Tamding Hrichoe la, and RTYC Jampaling working committee members. A public meeting was held in the community hall, commencing with a welcome speech by the regional President. The event was attended by TSO Kungo Karma la, former Centrex members, and settlement dignitaries. The TYC President addressed the gathering and engaged in a Q&A session with the audience. Following this, the Former Centrex VP extended closing thanks, marking the conclusion of the public meeting. Later, the regional working committee members organized a lunch for the Centrex members and all guests. TYC DELEGATION VISITS NEPAL LO TSAROK, MUSTANG. NEPAL

TYC President Gonpo Dhundup, Organization Secretary Yeshi Chomphel, and Media Officer Tenzin Lobsang arrived in Pokhara, Nepal, on November 6th.
On November 7th, they traveled by road to Lo Tsarok Mustang, where they were welcomed by the RTYC Lo Tsarok President and executive members. In the evening, they held a meeting with members of the Tibetan community, attended by the local representative and heads of other NGOs.
TYC organization secretary Yeshi Chomphel spoke about the purpose of their visit and greeted the public, while TYC President Gonpo Dhundup discussed the critical situation in Tibet and updated the community on TYC’s activities and campaigns. The program concluded with a Q&A session.
On the morning of November 8th, the delegation visited Muktinath and a nearby monastery. They also stopped at Marpha Tibetan Market, where they engaged with local Tibetan traders. Upon returning to the settlement, they visited the farm area, school, and regional office.

AUSTRALIAN TIBET SUPPORT GROUP VISITS TYC OFFICE

The General Secretary of the Tibetan Youth Congress and representatives of Tibetan NGOs met with the Australian Tibet Support Group, led by the Australia Tibet Council. They had a productive and engaging afternoon session, discussing the campaigns and initiatives that Tibetan NGOs are undertaking, as well as the critical situation in Tibet.

TYC VICE PRESIDENT ATTENDED AS THE CHIEF GUEST ON RTYC MANGALORE FRESHER’S DAY

Tibetan Youth Congress Vice President attended as the chief guest, alongside Kungo Jigme Tsultrim la (South Zone Chief Representative), at the Freshers’ Day event organized by RTYC Mangalore. The Vice President spoke about the importance of youth involvement in political campaigns and highlighted the worsening situation inside Tibet.

During the Diwali festival, TYC President Gonpo Dhundup, Vice President Tashi Targyal, and Media Officer Tenzin Lobsang met with several Indian dignitaries. They included Shri Yashbir Singh, Liaison Officer, MLA Shri Sudhir Sharma, Former Member of Parliament Shri Krishan Kapoor, and Shri Hemraj Bairwa, IAS, District Commissioner (D.C.). In these meetings, the TYC representatives expressed their gratitude for the dignitaries’ consistent support and wishes happy festival of light.
They also visited other respected individuals such as Shri Harish Gajju (H.A.S. Additional District Magistrate), Shri Hitesh Lakhanpal (H.P.S Additional Superintendent of Police), Shri Bir Bahadur (H.P.S Additional Superintendent of Police), Shri Sanjeev Kumar (SDM Dharamshala), Smt. RTYC ROHINI ELECTED NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBER

The President and General Secretary of the Tibetan Youth Congress led the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected members of the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress Rohini working committee. They delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of youth involvement in the Tibetan freedom movement. The event was attended by RTYC Delhi Samyeling President Tashi Dhondup la, former RTYC Rohini President, and current RTYC Samyeling working committee member Dekyong la. Additionally, RTYC Rohini presented its annual activity report and budget, contributing to the overall success of the event.

TYC PRESIDENT MR. GONPO DHUNDUP LA WAS INVITED AS THE GUEST OF HONOUR AT THE LAUNCH OF MEGAZINE IN NAVI MUMBAI

TYC President Mr. Gonpo Dhundup la was invited as the Guest of Honour at the launch of Ranangan magazine in Navi Mumbai. The event was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Sonam Yudron, Former DIG of the Armed Border Force and Information Commission of the Arunachal Pradesh State. Other notable attendees included Dr. Swapnil Mane, Founder of Saidham Cancer Hostel, Dr. Avinash Gargote, Chief Editor of Ranangan, Shri Kumar Kadam, Former Chairman of the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh, Shri Khandu Thungan, BTSM North East Convener, and several other dignitaries.
The organizers honored President with a traditional scarf, a bouquet, and a memento. During his speech, the TYC President extend gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the critical situation in Tibet. He highlighted the importance of Tibetan independence for India’s national security and interests. He concluded by thanking the Government and people of India for their continued support and appealed more support in the restoration of complete independence for Tibet.
The program concluded with poetry recitations and performances of traditional Marathi songs.

US EMBASSY DELEGATION VISIT TYC OFFICE AND MET CIVIL SOCIETY LEADERS

This afternoon, the TYC President and representatives from other NGOs met with the US Embassy in Delhi delegation including Mr.James Plasman, First Secretary; Mike Cramer, Political Officer; Jeff Miles and Ajay Dayal, Political Specialist along with Bureau office secretary Kungo Dhondup Gyalpo la. They had a productive discussion about the working nature of the NGOs and highlighted the critical situation in Tibet.
