As per the tenure TYC official Speaking Tour in the USA, TYC President Mr. Gonpo Dhundup and TYC Organizational Secretary Mr. Penpa Tsering toured around 6 Regional Chapters across the United States of America organized by the respective chapters from 1^st December 2021 to 7^th January 2022.

TYC President Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary Penpa Tsering started an Official Speaking Tour  from Washington on 1^st December 2021. RTYC Washington, D.C. President Mrs. Youdon and Senior Executive Member Gen Sonam la received them at Dullas Airport.

On 3^rd December 2021,they visited the Office of Tibet Washington DC. During the visit, the President thanked outgoing representative Kungoe Kasur Ngodup Tsering la for his constant support and extended best wishes to the new representative Dr. Namgyal Choedup la.

They also had an interaction with the South African Office of Tibet Representative Kungoe Jigme la and DC Office of Tibet Secretary Tashi Dhondup la and Chinese Liaison Officer, Tsultrim Gyatso la.

On 7th December 2021, TYC President Gonpo Dhundup la and Organizational Secretary Penpa Tsering la were warmly received by RTYC Minnesota President Tenzin Choesang la, Vice President Pema Drongme Baro la, General Secretary Kalsang la, Public Relations Tenzin Tendar la, and Treasurer Namgyal Tsering la at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport.

Tibetan Youth Congress President Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary Penpa Tsering had a public meeting with the Chicago Tibetan Community on 9^th December 2021. The public talk highlighted the current critical situation inside Tibet and briefed on TYC campaign activities to strengthen our freedom movement.

On the next day, TYC President and Organizational Secretary met with the Wisconsin Tibetan community. TYC President and Organizational Secretary extended sincere thanks to RTYC Wisconsin and the Executive member of the Wisconsin Tibetan Community.

To mark the International Day of Human Rights, a protest campaign was organized by RTYC Minnesota at Downtown Minnesota on 11^th December 2021. TYC Centrex participated the event amid heavy snowfall and harsh wind.

On 13^th December 2021, Tibetan Youth Congress President Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary Penpa Tsering had a public meeting with the Minnesota Tibetan Community at Gyuto Monastery organized by RTYC Minnesota. The public talk highlighted the current critical situation inside Tibet and briefed on TYC campaign activities to strengthen our freedom movement.

On 15^th December 2022, TYC President Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary Penpa Tsering had a virtual meeting with Senator Tina Smith Staffers. The critical situation inside Tibet and TYC action are briefed. TYC also thanked the Biden administration for announcing a Diplomatic boycott of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. This meeting was arranged by TYC former President and Current Member of Tibetan Parliament in Exile, North America Tenzing Jigme la.

On 17^th December 2021, Tibetan Youth Congress President Mr. Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary Mr. Penpa Tsering had a public meeting with the Seattle Tibetan Community at Sakya Monastery organized by RTYC Seattle. The public talk created an urgency regarding the current critical situation inside Tibet and introduced the public about TYC campaign activities and the legacy of TYC in Tibetan Freedom Movement. TYC Centrex offered an appreciation memento to Mrs. Ngawang Choedon la for her continuous financial contribution and Mr. Konchok Gonpo for his active leadership in the regional executive.

On 18^th Decmber 2021, Mr. Gonpo Dhundup, President of TYC, and Mr. Penpa Tsering, Organizational Secretary were warmly received by RTYC Portland President Karma Tsering la and former President Tashi la at Portland Railway Station. On the next day, they had a public meeting with the Portland Tibetan Community organized by RTYC Portland. The Public talk highlighted the current critical situation inside Tibet and focused on the roles and responsibilities of Tibetan youth in strengthening the movement.

On 8^th January 2022, TYC President Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary Penpa Tsering had a meeting with former TYC executive and current Executive Director of Tibet Fund Kasur Lobsang Nyandak la. TYC Centrex thanked the Tibet Fund for financially assisting TYC regional chapters on Skill Development Project during the pandemic period. They also discussed on  the upcoming conference on the Relevance and Significance of Dalai Lama Institution.

Tibetan Youth Congress President Mr. Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary Penpa Tsering had a public meeting with the New York and New Jersey Tibetan communities on 9^th January 2022 organized by RTYC NYNJ. The public talk highlights the current critical situation inside Tibet and briefed them about TYC campaign activities to strengthen our freedom movement.

Tibetan Youth Congress General Secretary, Mr. Sonam Tsering la represented Tibet at a day-long International Union of Socialist Youth’s Asia Pacific Virtual Convention held on 4^th December 2021. IUSY is made up of 143 youth organizations from 100 countries all over the world. IUSY was founded over 115 years ago, on 24^th August 1907 but during the World Wars, its activities were briefly suspended. IUSY was re-established under its current name on 30^th September 1946. The goal of IUSY is to put into practice and defend the ideals of democratic socialism, to fight for freedom and human rights, equality, democracy, universal solidarity, political solution, etc. on global issues.

The delegates of the World Council had extensive deliberation of the IUSY political topics for the coming year. The conference had TYC representative Mr. Sonam Tsering speaking on the upcoming Winter Olympics in Beijing and the climate crisis in Tibet.

The Regional Youth Convention of the IUSY has successfully adopted two resolutions related to the Climate crisis on the Tibetan Plateau and boycotted Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

As per the resolution adopted on the 18^th North America annual meeting, the 19^th annual meeting was headed by TYC Centrex and organized by RTYC San Francisco from 26 – 28 November 2021. TYC President Mr. Gonpo Dhundup and Organizational Secretary, Mr. Penpa Tsering led the 19^th North America RTYC Annual Meeting.

The three-day meeting was inaugurated with the presence of TYC former President and current Member of Tibetan Parliament in Exile, North America Mr. Tenzing Jigme. The North America Working Committee was attended by six regional chapters in the North American region and was participated by 20 delegates.

The delegates discussed on 10 major agendas and successfully adopted 22 resolutions.

The three days North America Regional Tibetan Youth Congress annual meeting concluded with a special session with activists from Uyghur, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southern Mongolia, and Mainland China.

The TYC’s Golden Jubilee celebration is being marked on 7^th October 2021, a year later as the celebrations have been postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was held at the Imperial Height Clark’s Inn Hotel, Kanyara. The celebration is being marked parallel with the 50^th Working Committee Meeting of the TYC.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Tenzin Geyche Tethong, founding member, first President of TYC, and Former Kalon as the Chief Guest of the ceremony. And Shri. Kishan Kapoor, Member of Parliament, BJP and Shri Arjit Nehria, President of the Indo-Tibet Friendship Association as the Special Guests of the event. Former TYC Centrex were invited to the event as guests and Dharamshala Tibetan Settlement Officer, Representatives of various NGOs, Monasteries and Schools were also invited to the program.

The ceremony began with a singing of Tibetan and Indian national anthem and the guests and delegates observed a minute of silence for all the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Tibet.

The Chief Guest and Special Guests launched three books, The history of TYC, Agendas and Resolutions of TYC in WCMs and GBMs and Biographies of the former TYC executive members published by the Office of the Central Executive Committee, Tibetan Youth Congress.

The first President of the TYC and former Kalon (Kasur)Tethong Tenzin Geyche made the remarks at the Golden Jubilee celebration of the largest Tibetan non-governmental organization in exile that “nothing good came after the Chinese occupation of Tibet.”

“If the sizeable Tibetans in exile cannot live in unity, it’s a shame,” he added.

However, he expressed his firm belief in the indomitable spirit of the Tibetans inside Tibet and that of the TYC’s leadership and campaigns and said that despite the present grim situation under Chinese rule, he believes there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Mr. Gonpo Dhundup, the President of TYC highlighted the significance of TYC as an organization in the Tibetan struggle for freedom and the contributions it has made since its humble beginnings 51 years ago in 1970 be it political campaigns or social services.

“Because of TYC’s active political engagements, the so-called Chinese Communist Party of China has labeled us as a terrorist organization. However, the fact remains that TYC only seeks the complete independence of Tibet through a non-violence approach.” Said Mr. Gonpo Dhundup.

BJP MP Shri Kishan Kapoor who attended the event as the special guest extended his greetings on TYC’s 50^th founding anniversary on behalf of India and the Indian people and applauded the TYC for nourishing leaders for the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) including the likes of former Sikyong and declared that the future of the CTA is bright.

The BJP MP from Kangra concluded by stating that like all the dictators that came before in the world’s history and perished, the Chinese regime under its dictator Xi Jinping too will perish and that Tibet will regain its independence.

In Shri. Arjit Nehria’s remarks, he focused on fighting for independence of Tibet as he believes that the security of India lies in the independence of Tibet. He condemned the Communist Party of China and applauded TYC President, Mr. Gonpo Dhundup for his activism and motivating Tibetan Youths to take part in the Tibetan Freedom Struggle.

The morning program concluded with a special lunch to the guests and delegates.

In the afternoon of the same day, some former TYC executive members along with the delegates from the Regional chapters had a three hour long productive discussions on the continuity of TYC as an organization striving for Independence of Tibet.

As a part of the concluding ceremony of the Golden Jubilee celebration and the 50^th Working Committee Meeting (WCM), a Tibetan cultural performance was presented by the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) at TIPA hall on 12^th October 2021.  Shri. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh graced the event along with Shri. Indresh Kumar, leader of RSS and founder of BTSM, District Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and other dignitaries. The President of the Central Tibetan Administration, Sikyong Penpa Tsering, Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and Mrs. Dolma Tsering and the Chief Justice Commissioner, Mr. Sonam Norbu Dagpo also attended the evening cultural program. The show was wrapped off with a grand dinner for the dignitaries at TIPA Hall.
