December 9, 2011: A group of seventeen members of Tibetan Youth Congress were arrested this afternoon at around 2pm for protesting against Gen. MA Xiaotian deputy Chief of People’s liberation Army who was holding a meeting on Defence and Security dialogue at ICT Maurya Sheraton in Delhi.

The 11 boys and 6 girls carrying Tibetan national flags and raising slogans of ‘Free Tibet’ and ‘China has no right to talk on Indo –Tibet border’. One of the boys suffered minor injury that got beaten up by the staff. They are all currently detained at Chanakyapuri police station.
