As usual day 13th march began at 6-00 am sharp from Ratnagiri Temple toward Walajapet as the weather looks to be a hot, humid and cloudy as marcher have to cover 20km.Exactly as prediction weather was humid and hot too but marchers determination was like a mountain.
The marcher reached Vedavalli Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School,Walajapet around 11-00 am where the school management along with Aunty Usha Christ a well known Photographer who have been to Tibet in 2000, Aunty Aasha, Aasha Aunty’s elder daughter Anjna, Lukas from Germany and Amandile from France welcomed the Tibet’s Independence Marcher. The banner which was hung outside the school gate gave lots of encouragement to the Marcher.
At 12-30 pm, the class XI and XII students and the marcher got half an hour interaction period. The students also asked some question about Tibet. At 1-00pm the lunch was served for the marcher which was sponsored by school. In fact lunch dinner and break fast was sponsored by Vedavalli Vidyalaya School. At 2-00 pm Aunty Usha Christ has given Slide show of photograph which she has clicked during her visited in Tibet in year 2000 and she also spoke how the Chinese behave to the Tibetans in Tibet. She also show the autograph that she received His Holiness the Dalai Lama on 25thApril 1963 at Mussoorie The marcher were deeply touched by the work she has done for the Tibetan people and everyone has appreciate her. She also told that every year at Mumbai she used to show these pictures of Tibet to Indian people.
The evening was very much different from all those evening which we had during March. On this evening its time for movie for all the marcher, Aunty Aasha bought some dvd movies related to Tibet like seven years in Tibet, Kundun and etc and school management provided us dvd players. The marcher enjoyed the evening. And at 8-00 pm the dinner was served for the marcher which was south Indian dishes which some marcher never tested before.
